Our tours are located on the island of Great Exuma, which is 200 miles away from Nassau. Guests do come over to Exuma (Airport code GGT) on day excursions, however this involves taking a 40 minute plane ride from Nassau International Airport.

There are two airlines which fly domestically:

If This is something that you are interested in doing, we suggest checking with the airlines on their availability and flight schedule, and then confirming with us that we think that the weather is okay and that we have availability before purchasing your flights.

If you do wish to purchase in advance, please ensure to book refundable flights in the event the weather does not cooperate. The weather is very unpredictable and we are not responsible in the event you arrive in Great Exuma and we're unable to operate safely.

Depending upon your flight time, you will either be brought out to our dock immediately for the 9am tour, or if your flight lands after 9, dropped to a local restaurant where you can purchase a late breakfast/early lunch and explore our town, prior to coming out to our dock for 1:15pm.

You can then participate in our tour, and return to the airport in time to check in for the evening flight.

Exuma Water Sports is based on the island of Great Exuma, which is a plane ride away from the cruise ports. Unfortunately if you're arriving by ship, there isn't enough time to participate in our tours.

We pick up from hotels and resorts in George Town to Paradise Bay. If you’re outside of this pickup zone, most likely you will have a rental vehicle while you’re on the island. If you don’t, transfers can be organized for an additional fee.

Dress like you’re going to the beach. Don’t forget your towels, cameras and sunscreen, along with the Visa/MC/Cash you wish to use for purchases.
You are welcome to bring any snacks/beverages on board.

You are welcome to bring your drone on the tour. Sometimes the sound can agitate the animals, so you may be requested to stop using it if that’s the case.

There is no lunch on a Half Day Tour, and there’s really nowhere to purchase it. We suggest eating a hearty meal prior to departing for our dock. You are welcome to bring any snacks/beverages on board (yes even alcoholic ones!)

Lunch is included on the Full Day Public Tours and we do stop for lunch on the Private Full Day Charter Tour but the price of the lunch is not included in the cost and must be paid separately.

The following restaurants are within a 20 minute drive of our dock.
If you’re doing lunch before the tour, You MUST call ahead to ensure that their kitchen is open and inform them you need to be finished eating by 12:25 in order to make your tour.

Our largest vessel used for public tours has an on board bathroom.
Our charter vessels and smaller boats do not have on board bathrooms and we therefore advise all guests to use our restroom facilities at our dock and then again at the stops before they travel back.

We do our best to not operate if the tour is going to be wet or uncomfortable and err on the side of caution, this can be upsetting for some people but it is always in the name of safety.
The weather in the Caribbean can be unpredictable and light rain is sometimes unavoidable, but it normally is in short bursts and rarely lasts more than a few minutes.
If you’re concerned about the weather, we will work with you to reschedule to move you and your party to another date.

We will work with you to reschedule to another date. If you can’t reschedule, there’s no charge.

On our half day tours you’re on the boat for no more than 15 minutes at a time between the stops.
On full day tours, the journey to the various destinations can be longer. To see Thunderball Grotto or the nurse sharks, for example, there are stretches of up to 40 minutes.

On our Half Day Swimming Pigs Tour we’re going to White Bay Cay, which is featured on The Swimming Pigs official Instagram page.
This is the home of The Swimming Pigs you’ve seen on The Bachelor, HGTV, Access Hollywood, and more!
Full Day tour stops vary, depending on which itinerary you choose.
