Plan Your Exuma Trip

Know Before You Go

Planning ahead is the key to a smooth and stress-free Exuma vacation. Exuma Water Sports operates year-round (except September), and weather conditions can vary depending on the season.

Weather & Seasonal Expectations

  • December–February: Peak season with beautiful days, but occasional cold fronts. Bring a rash guard and a lightweight sweatshirt—temperatures usually sit in the mid-80s but can dip into the low 70s.
  • March–May: Stunning weather and excellent for touring, though breezy at times.
  • June–August: Hot, sunny, and ideal for beach lovers.

Forecasting: While no weather app is 100% accurate, we commonly reference Windfinder’s Emerald Bay forecast and monitor conditions closely. Your comfort and safety always come first, and we avoid operating tours in unfavorable or unsafe weather.

Booking Recommendations

Our Public Full Day Swimming Pigs Tours, Seven Beaches Tours, and Private Charters fill up quickly—especially during holidays and school breaks.

  • Book at least 1 month in advance, and 2–3 months ahead for holiday periods.

Planning Your Stay

  • Give yourself one full day after arrival before your tour to adjust, pick up groceries, and buffer for flight delays.
  • Schedule your excursion for the 2nd or 3rd full day on the island.
  • Exuma is a relaxed, build-your-own-adventure destination—don’t overschedule. Leave time for beach hopping, pool days, or revisiting the grocery store for items they didn’t have the first time.
  • Booking multiple excursions? Leave a rest day in between for flexibility and weather adjustments.

Not sure which tour is right for you? Our friendly reservations team is always here to help guide you.
